DESCRIPTION:�Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Barn Pavilion is a new ground-up 2,900-square-foot outdoor pavilion with a modern �barn look.� The pavilion is constructed of wood roof trusses supported by wood laminated beams atop steel columns. The roof is double pitched, and painted James Hardie siding wraps the building. Large swinging and sliding barn doors enclose the ends of the pavilion. The sides of the pavilion are open with auto-closing exterior shades. The pavilion will primarily serve as an area for hosting wedding receptions, in an already popular venue.
