Michelle began her career in construction when she was 18. After a summer as a flagger, she obtained her CDL so she could drive trucks and work as a laborer. Upon graduation from Colorado State University, she moved to CA to work for a large general contractor. She worked around the country on many different commercial and industrial projects where she eventually became a Project Manager.

She is now combining her field experience with her studies in marketing to promote Mendel and Company and assist with pre-construction activities.

In her free time, Michelle enjoys the outdoors and traveling to developing countries. She loves to learn about other cultures while taking in the dramatic sights. In the past few years, she has completed a mission trip in Haiti, a 5-week solo backpacking trip through SE Asia and a shorter backpacking trip through Ecuador.

A meaningful life is not being rich, being popular, being highly educated, or being perfect…It is about being real, being humble, being able to share ourselves and touch the lives of others. It is only then that we could have a full, happy, and contented life.”…..unknown
